Bio of Dr. Nick A. Talarico

Dr. Nick A. Talarico was born and raised in Grand Blanc, Michigan. His childhood was filled with various sporting activities including football, baseball and skiing; however his favorite sport was hockey. Dr. Talarico moved to El Paso, Texas during his high school years, where he attended Cathedral High School and eventually graduated from Hanks High School. Dr. Talarico did his undergraduate studies at the University of Texas El Paso and attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa where he graduated in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Chiropractic degrees. After graduation, Dr. Talarico briefly practiced in Michigan before moving back to El Paso in 1995.  Dr. Talarico has practiced in El Paso, Texas since returning in 1995 and has also been licensed to practice in the state of New Mexico since 2004.

Dr. Talarico is currently an Approved Doctor with the Texas Department of Worker’s Compensation and is licensed by the American Academy of Disability Evaluating Physicians as well as the Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners and the New Mexico State Board of Chiropractic Examiners.

Chiropractic Education

Doctors of Chiropractic complete 4 years of undergraduate school and 4 years of graduate school. They are required to pass National and State board examinations to obtain licensure. Once licensed in Texas or New Mexico, 16 hours of continuing post-graduate education is required for yearly license renewal.
